Our next Comedy Club Night is on Friday September 5th as Laughing Chili return to bring another night of fun and laughter. Come and enjoy a hilarious night of comedy with a top line-up of fabulous comedians. Doors and bar open at 7:30pm, the show starts at 8:30pm
We were delighted to welcome Roulette Band to Budworth Hall on August 8th, where they entertained us with a lively mix of popular songs—both old and new—alongside some of their own original compositions.
We’d like to remind you of some regular events and classes held at Budworth Hall—perhaps there’s something you’d like to try! Here are just a few:
· Thursday evenings bring you Salsa 205 Club
· Michelle of Maximise Fitness runs regular classes and hosts Senior Fitness on Tuesday and Friday mornings with Amanda McGregor
· The Ongar Singers are local community choir who meet at Budworth Hall

Other News and Updates
As mentioned last month, we hoped to extend our redecoration programme to the entrance lobby and behind the bar, and we’re delighted to report that we can now proceed.
A reminder – Budworth Hall was gifted to the people of Ongar and became a charity in 1963, serving the residents of Chipping Ongar and the surrounding district. It is not a council building. The Ongar and District Community Association (ODCA), which runs Budworth Hall, is run entirely by volunteers. If you feel you could help in any way, please get in touch. You can also check our online diary for availability if you’re planning your own event.
