Laughing Chili returned on Friday, September 5th, for another fantastic Comedy Club Night filled with fun and laughter. Word is spreading, and we were delighted to welcome many first-timers—hopefully the first of many more visits to come!

The entrance lobby and the area behind the bar are scheduled for redecoration in October.
The Millennium History Society now open the museum every Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm. Pop in for a visit.
Remember, Budworth Hall was a wonderful gift to the people of Ongar and has been run as a charity since 1963, serving the residents of Chipping Ongar and surrounding villages. It isn’t a council building, or anything to do with the council – it’s cared for and run by the Ongar and District Community Association (ODCA), a team of local volunteers. If you’d like to get involved or lend a hand in any way, we’d love to hear from you.

The Ballroom, Concert Hall, Committee Room, and Bar Area are available to hire seven days a week at competitive rates. To enquire about booking availability, please email budworthhall-ongar@outlook.com with your name, phone number, and details of the event. If you have no access to email, you can call 07918 462959 and leave a message. We are all volunteers but will get back to you as quickly as possible. .
The Coffee Bar and Restaurant is run by Nerissa and Claire and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 3pm.
