Our December Comedy Club Night sold out in early November. We had several requests for tickets when there were none left! To avoid disappointment, be sure to book your tickets early for the next Comedy Club Night onFriday 6th March at www.laughingchili.co.uk (scroll down to find Ongar) or through the link on our website. Doorsand bar open at 7:30pm, the show starts at 8:30pm.
We’re proud to host a wide range of regular activities and events including the Ongar Singers, Karate, Fitness classes and Salsa. Further information can be found on our website www.budworthhall.co.uk and our social media pages and notice board.
Our Annual General Meeting was on Friday November 7th. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed.
Other News and Updates
In early November, as part of our ongoing improvements to Budworth Hall, the lobby and corridor were redecorated, matching the colour scheme of the ballroom, providing a fresh, clean and welcoming entrance to thehall.
We were pleased to welcome Essex Schools ITT as new regular hirers in September. They meet in the ballroomevery Wednesday for teacher training and have told us how delighted they are to have chosen Budworth Hall astheir venue. Salsa 205 held a vibrant Halloween evening in October, full of colour, energy, and some utterly amazing costumes! The ballroom looked fantastic. Well done to everyone who took part.
In October we were delighted to host a beautiful Quinceañera celebration. It was a truly glamorous evening that showcased how perfect our ballroom is for special occasions. With its elegant setting and welcoming atmosphere, Budworth Hall provides the ideal venue for parties, weddings, receptions, and celebrations of all kinds.

Budworth Hall has been operating as a charitable organisation since 1963. The Hall is not owned or managed by
the council but is cared for and run by the Ongar and District Community Association (ODCA), a team ofvolunteers who give up their time for the benefit of the community. If you would like to get involved or offer your support in any way, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Our facilities are available to book seven days a week. To enquire about booking availability, please email budworthhall-ongar@outlook.com with your name, phone number, and details of the event. If you have no access to email, you can call 07918 462959 and leave a message. We are all volunteers but will get back to you as quickly as possible.
The Coffee Bar and Restaurant is run by Nerissa and Claire and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 3pm.
