There are no ODCA events in July. The Comedy Club Night was on June 27th and will be reported on next month.

Other News and Updates
We’re delighted to let you know that the installation of the stairlift from the ballroom to the bar and entrance level is now complete! Following a slight delay earlier in June, the stairlift is now fully operational and has been successfully tested by a wheelchair user. This is an important step in making Budworth Hall more accessible for everyone in our community.
As a reminder, the Ongar and District Community Association (ODCA) is run entirely by volunteers — and we’d love for you to get involved! Whether you can spare a little time to help serve tea at our senior events, lend a hand at community activities, or offer your skills in other ways, every bit of support makes a difference. You don’t have to join the committee — simply becoming a Friend of Budworth Hall, or contacting us if you feel you can help in any way, is a great way to help support your community hall. If you’re interested, please get in touch — we’d be delighted to hear from you.

The Budworth Hall office is closed, but the Ballroom, Concert Hall, Committee Room, and Bar Area are available for hire 7 days a week at competitive rates. For enquiries, please email budworthhall-ongar@outlook.com with your name, telephone number, and enquiry details. If you have no access to email, you can call us on 07918 462959, and leave a message. Someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you are thinking of starting a weekly or regular event, please contact us and arrange to have a look at our facilities.
The onsite Coffee Bar and Restaurant is run by Nerissa and Claire and is open Tuesday to Saturday.
